Ensuring that you receive only the best training available, we put our Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) through a rigorous screening process before offering them a spot on our team lead by Chief Pilot James Baker. Not only are their skills and abilities evaluated prior to becoming Rogue CFIs, but we provide ongoing training both within the company and through partnerships with the top helicopter safety experts in the world.

Discovery Flight

Discover your love for flight and aviation by trying out one of our discovery flights! Fly over Orange County in the pilot's seat alongside a Rogue Aviation team member who will let you handle the controls. When you're back on the ground, we can answer any questions you may have about our flight school and how to become a pilot. This is the perfect intro to flight lessons without the commitment!

ORIENTATION

Ready to jump into your flight school journey? Each student takes their first step toward becoming a pilot with a free orientation with a Rogue Aviation team member at our office in Santa Ana.

A certified flight instructor will answer your questions and work with you to establish your training goals. By the time you leave, you’ll have a personalized plan to reach your goals in the most cost efficient and timely ways possible.

This is also when you’ll pay your yearly enrollment fee (which covers your Hull Damage Waiver for the R22, enrolls you in our Frequent Flyer Program and gets you a bunch of Rogue Aviation goodies like a t-shirt, stickers and a lanyard), get your syllabus and materials, and set up your first training sessions.
