This fall, go back to school with Rogue. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, prep for an upcoming flight review, get your rotorcraft add-on, or start your flight training totally from scratch, we’ve got you covered!

The Courses
Need to start with the essentials? Earn your Private Pilot’s License and learn the physics, systems, airport operations, weather and more from the comfort of our offices while learning straight and level flight, hovering, and more from the skies.
Take it to the next level with your Commercial Pilot’s License so you can actually get paid to fly!
Plus, get certified to fly through the clouds with your Instrument Rating and learn to teach others with our Certified Flight Instructor tracks!
Already done those? We also offer R66 Turbine Transition Training, with more advanced courses to come!
And as a friendly PSA: Our curriculum was developed in part by Matt Barnes, our Director of Education. He has a Master’s in Education and an extensive background in curriculum development, ensuring that our programs are unified and impactful!
The Instructors
Our team is ever-growing, but it takes a lot to become a Rogue CFI… Along with our rigorous screening process and skill evaluation, we provide ongoing training for our team. (You can’t teach students to be great if your own skills aren’t up to par!)
When you study with Rogue, our instructors work with YOUR schedule, so you won’t have to adjust your work schedule to train with a group of other students.
Instead, every lesson is one-on-one. You’ll have the opportunity to work with all of our instructors individually, giving you the chance to build connections and learn from a variety of training styles.
The Locations
We train and fly from John Wayne Airport and Long Beach Airport, meaning you’ll experience stunning views while you learn AND you’ll experience some of the most complex airspace in the world. If you can learn here, you can fly anywhere!
You’ll have the chance to train at both of our locations, and you’ll want to! Each location offers unique flight opportunities and challenges.
The Classrooms
We designed our classrooms with the needs and comfort of our students: supportive tech, retro aviation style, snacks, and more!
We’re big fans of using tech for lesson support, meaning our students can use Flight Sight (our companion flight training app for Apple Vision Pro), TVs, and iPads for expanded instruction. And for those days when the weather has taken a turn or if students are unable to take an in-person lesson, Zoom lessons can help students stay on track.
We fly seven days a week, so you’re not limited by weekly office closures. Don’t have a scheduled lesson, but need a quiet place to study or connect with your fellow pilots? Our doors are open to you!
