THE BASICS

While we fly all ages at Rogue, we recommend guests who are over the age of 14 and can follow directions well for the Pilot Experience.
To fly safely, each helicopter has a specific weight limit. Passenger weight verification may be required. Customers found to be over this seat limit will not be able to fly and will be charged the full cost of the flight. By booking a Pilot Experience, you acknowledge that no passenger in your group is 300 pounds or more. In the event that any passenger is overweight by 15 pounds or more, there will be additional fees charged.

PREPARING FOR MY EXPERIENCE

None! You don’t need to understand the inner workings of a helicopter or have previous flight training of any kind. All you need is excitement and a willingness to try something new! Trust us, this will be worth it!

While motion sickness is very rare during our tours, our Pilot Experiences include hovering and, if participants choose to upgrade with the enhanced experience option, autorotations, quick stops, and more.
It is possible to experience motion sickness during these events.

We encourage you to dress comfortably. You won't want to wear any restrictive clothing. We also ask that all participants wear closed-toed shoes. (No sandals or flip-flops.)

All Pilot Experiences depart from Long Beach Airport.

You will need a valid, government-issued photo ID or passport to enter the airfield.

Because safety is our number one value, we will not hesitate to cancel a Pilot Experience if weather becomes a concern. In the event of adverse weather, Temporary Flight Restrictions, or unforeseen maintenance, Pilot Experiences may be rebooked by Rogue Aviation at no additional charge.

Guests are permitted to reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before their Pilot Experience departure time for a rescheduling fee of $50 and a cancellation fee of $100.
A no-show will result in a total charge in the full amount of the Experience.
