Rogue Aviation Pilot Experience: on the ground and in the skies!
Our Pilot Experience goes beyond a tour…FAR beyond! Between the ground and aerial portions, it captures a unique opportunity over 3-3.5 hours, culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime Hover Challenge!
Okay, but what exactly does that all mean? Let’s see what’s in store…
Step One: On the Ground
You start your journey at the Rogue Aviation office with a brief orientation video and SFAR training for safety purposes! Now is the time for questions!
Then, you’ll head down to the hangar during a short tour before completing your pre-flight check, flight overview, and some photo opportunities.
You’ll feel like a real pilot before you even get into your helicopter!
Step Two: In the Air
Next, the flying begins. After takeoff, you’ll cruise for 60-90 minutes over your selected Los Angeles or Orange County route with your flight instructor, catching views of SoCal’s most popular icons.
But that’s just a tour, right? WRONG.
You’ll also get to use the controls, with your instructor’s supervision and support, and attempt to complete the highly illusive Hover Challenge before returning back to the airport for a flight debrief.
