Day Two (which feels a lot like Day Three since we had a full day of flying and whatnot on Sunday!) and we started off at the Nevada County Air Park with our new friends at GSS and Alpine Aviation who helped us figure out how to attach a big ol' pole to Helena's underside. (If you read something dirty there... that's all on you!)

Once those mechanical and engineering geniuses were well on their way (they also had to figure out how to run the power for this thing!), we headed back to GSS HQ for more training and learning and learning and training and... well, you get the picture. (If not, there are a bunch of them below to help you out!)

On our way to dinner, we popped back by Alpine Aviation to see the installed pole. They did a fantastic job (of course), but flying with this is definitely going to take some getting used to! (I'm sure we'll get over it in about 2.6 seconds!)

For dinner, Nick (our GSS Sales Guru) and his hilarious kids took us to dinner at Sergio's Italian restaurant in Grass Valley. It was delicious and all, but let's be honest... the Lazy Dog Chocolateria and Ice Cream Parlour next door was the main attraction.

Tomorrow morning, we'll install the gimbal on the ship, do some test flights, say goodbye to our new friends and begin the long journey back to Orange County as we pick up some sweet footage along the way!
