Things We're Missing During COVID-19

SoCal hasn’t been the same this year. You know, because of the whole pandemic. So this week on the blog, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite sights, tourist destinations, and events that we’re missing just a little bit extra this year…

Baseball Games

While we can still watch it on TV, there’s nothing like hearing the crowd and snacking on stadium food in person. Dodger Stadium, despite all the usual traffic to park, sounds especially awesome right about now.

Concerts

The bands singing, the crowds waving their cell phone flashlights… Can you hear it?!?! We really miss those nights at Staples Center.

Beach Days on Fourth of July

Look how absolutely packed Huntington Beach was during the Fourth of July in this throwback picture. This is just shortly before the firework show began.

Getty Museum

As one of the best artistic experiences in SoCal, the Getty Museum really delivers. We’re looking forward to seeing some art in person next year!

Disneyland

Who can forget Disneyland?!? Now that Star Wars Land is officially open, we’re so hyped to go back and walk down Main Street, taking in all those amazing smells, or racing against time in our own jeep on the Indiana Jones’ Adventure.

OC FAIR

Two words: fair food. We really missed out on turkey legs and fried Twinkies at the OC Fair. But next year? Count us in for double the treats!

There’s a lot we’re missing right now, but that just means there’s a whole lot to look forward to next year!
